Tagaroo

Happy Easter!!

I've been tagged by my dear friend Kathleen...

Five minutes to yourself: My first up of coffee with either a magazine, or inspiring catalogue sitting in my new sun room. (now that we've had beautiful weather, I actually got to do this for the first time yesterday!!)

Five bucks to spend right now: how would you spend it? This is so strange...My Memere sent me raffle tickets to sell for her for the Humane Society, and right before I came to the computer this morning I filled out 6 for $5 bucks!

Five items in your house you could part with, right now, that you hadn't thought of already? TV... (I HAVE thought of it several times over...but I'm still putting it here!) second floor lamp from Target, Better Homes and Gardens mag. I just got in the mail and I DON'T have a subscription to, box filled with crap right beside me...(what's in there anyway??), aaaaaand (I'm looking around, hold on) empy bottle of Excederin sitting beside the computer.

Five items you absolutely, positively could never part with in your house? Not an "item" but my garden, the computer, my paints, my music source, and my Husband...(I know, I know he's not an item but I could never part with him!!)

Five words you love?  lovely, fab, fabulous, JUNQUE, balls...(I've found several expressive ways to say "balls" as of late)

I am passing this on to Bridget, Barb, B.P., Amanda & Jayne  simply because I am honestly curious what your answers will be!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now...it's confession time. Sometimes I feel all Martha Stewart and goody~two shoeyish on this site....because quite frankly I'm so DAMNED polite (my parents raised me right)...but it's not all me! I mean, I LOVE to paint, knit, garden and decorate (I live for it!)...but I'm really a little punk at heart! I swear like a sailor, I listen to rock and roll...(sometimes on the heavy side) and I can chug a Yager Bomb in seconds flat, so please don't let me misguide you into thinking I'm something that I'm not. In fact...speaking of punks, here is the real me.
I'll never forget Giao's surprised reaction when she heard me swear in NY... too funny. I try and behave online too... so much though some people think I'm in my late 40's. well maybe not so much now that I've now confided I read harry potter and still watch teen angst movies like "mean girls"! ;)
Great answers, this was so much fun to read... thanks for playing! Happy Easter. :)
LOL. This very post could describe me! Isn't it quite funny how we share our "good side" online? ha!
Ha! My husband says I swear like one of those guys that work at the seaports in Italy.
And at work (in another life), my nickname was....
DragonLady!
I bet Martha Stewart swears like a sailor too! Nobody's tagged me, but I have to chime in here. I would spend five minutes right now sitting outside, bundled up tightly because it's freezing, cuddling a hot cup of coffee. I think I'll go do that very thing while I wait for dh to bring little Peter home for lunch.
Girl, I knew you were a rebel from the very 1st moment that I spoke to you on the phone! I love that about you! - Dawn
Jes, I love the real you. And Kathleen's funny--I don't remember reacting to her cussing, but I think all of us were talking like sailors over that weekend!
I consider myself tagged and will try to answer the questions tomorrow if I get a chance...I panicked for a minute when I saw 'Barb' and 'B.P'...my initials and thought I had to do this twice! Please tell me it's not cheating if some of my answers are almost the same as yours. This is completely off-topic, but is your home anywhere in the photo that you use for your banner? Have a great day...Barb
I loved your fun answers and also the "confessions" part. It's wonderful the way people are so unbelievably polite here in blog-world but on the other hand it's a real relief to find out that they're also simply human with their swearing and all!
By the way, thanks for commenting by blog recently!
OMG Kathleen...I just watched Mean Girls a couple of weeks ago.
Barb...I WISH I lived on Monhegan island!! You can get there by boat, and it's an artists community all the way!
I just love all your answers and I will get to mine later this afternoon. I too can swear with the best of them and I collect skulls...how weird is that! It's not very Martha!
