Girls Rock....

We really do kick some major ass.

Tammy and I had a great time in Beverly, Ma. last weekend, where we hooked up with Mindy and the gang.

Tammy and I met for the first time in Auburn in front of T.J. Maxx, where we shopped for bras. Yes bras. You know you've made a friend for life when they are willing to discuss cup size with you.

We antiqued our way down to Beverly, and found a few treasures. Another way of telling if you'll hit it of with someone or not, is to see if they grab up all of the treasures before you do. We shared.

That night we went to Mindy's Wish Studios. She's renting a spot at the Red Brick Center for the Arts in downtown Beverly. What a fabulous spot to be in! 3 floors of glorious art. I hope to make it back soon, as I may be teaching a class or two there in the future.

Leah, Melba, Tammy & Jes

We all went out to eat that night, Leah, Angela, Kelley, Melba, Tammy & Mindy. (minus Heidi, who's yet another doll!) I could go on and on about each one of you. Sweet, funny, smart, talented & creative. You are all beautiful ladies and I can't wait for our next meet up! I AM planning a little retreat here at The Plenty To Do Farm, will keep you girls posted.

While at the show I did buy a GORGEOUS clutch from Karen of Simply June. Such beautiful handiwork....everything is lined, and the materials she uses are primo. I couldn't resist a pair of her bobby-pins either!

These little babies are only $6.00 for the pair!

You know you want to.

You see that all-rose clutch center right?

  It's mine.

I just want to give a BIG THANKS to all of you, it was a fun mini-adventure, and I really do look forward to more!

xoxoxo

As you can probably hear, I've added music to this site. I'd really LOVE an HONEST opinion from you all! Is it too much or OK? Mom says it makes her dizzy.

I like the music! I wish I was there shopping, walking and laughing with you all. It really sounded like you had so much fun. I was wondering what Tammi looked like, and I am glad I got to see you better too. I miss discussing jewelry, but it is nice to visit each other.

I don't think I paint so well yet, but I am learning in my own way. Thank you for visiting so much. You are a wonderful, modern happy girl!

Hi sweet Jes :-)

I can't hear any music at all so I can't say anything about it.

You know I said long time ago I was making something for you? Well, there was one detail I hadn't figured out how to make, but now I think I know ... he he ... you have to wait and see ;-) All the other things (well, it's not much, not at all) have been waiting for you in my bookshelf for months ... lazy me ... Anyway, one day I'll finish the thing I'm making (and don't think it's a big thing, it's just that I'm slow) and then I'll send it off to you :-)

xoxo

So, I couldn't resist going to the simply june site and getting myself a pair of those bobby pins. I just got my hair cut shorter, so I think one at a time will look cute, hopefully.

By the way, I FINALLY got my bday present! Thanks so much for the cute goodies and the TJMaxx GC. I need some more tanks.

Lets try to nail down a date to hang out.
