So did everyone make it through turkey day? And what about the weekend? Did you shop? Laze around? Watch cheezy 80's movies?

Usually we'd be home watching James Bond movies, but we took off this weekend for camp, and though it was cold, it was pretty sunny all weekend. We had fresh SNOW, and everything was crystal-like and shimmery. Some friends came to stay and all was groovey.

(Rudy was a little pooped out on the two hour ride home)

I came home ready to finish up some pieces that I started the weekend before. I had found the funnest little Jasper & Agate beads, and knew they'd make a perfect frame for a mini collage. Ater a wee bit of experimenting, I found what worked best.

NEST

nest

Of course mixing in other vintage elements is half the fun!

DREAM

They are also the pefect size for bracelets.

FAIRIES

I love that some of the pendants are double-sided, twice as much fun!

I couldn't get photos of the last one, as the sun was fading fast. I still can't believe it's now getting dark at 3:45. ick.

What I have so far will go into the shop tonight in the "Revived Relics" category.

AND DON'T FORGET!

From now until Christmas I am offering free

"Artsy Ephemera Packs" & "Vintage Sheet Music Bundles"!

Go here to read all about it!

These are beauties my friend! I just love that blue flower on 'Nest'--it's perfect.

The snow at camp sounds so wonderful--we should be getting our fair share on Monday, eh?

Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

OMW Jes, those are SOOOOOO amazing!!!! I love how you find such unique things to combine to make your art!

hehe, I just noticed that one of your categories on this blog is "artsy fartsy"... I thought only people in my family used that phrase!!! How cool!
