Happy Fall

Just wanted to let you know that you can find my first article on "Studio Spaces" here.

Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend! We went to camp with friends, and just enjoyed the moment. The mountains were actually quite warm, yet breezy. The deck was the constant hangout. I even brought jewelry and worked on the deck.

LOTS and lots of projects going on...I'll keep you posted as they come. Some of you I have not connected with in a long while. SO sorry, we have been our usual busy selves.  Come October, we plan on settling down again.

We have been hauling and stacking wood in preperation for winter. We also purchased a new wood stove. A beautiful new Jotul! Yes... we bought the ivory color! We loved our old Jotul but it was too small. This burns longer and is slightly bigger, and I love the larger viewing window. Mainer's get excited by this kind of thing you know.

HAPPY FALL!

Thank you, Jes for mentioning me in your article in Artstudioblogzine.
I like your new wood stove. A fire in the winter just feels so cozy. Add to that some hot chocolate or some nice Chai tea (with whipped cream of course) and let it snow.

Nice article, Jes. I cursed your neat studio until I read that you cleaned it. Good thinking.

Been thinking of you and hoping to get together for art collaboration soon.

Just realized that it'd been a while since I checked out your work. I LOVE the "new" pieces! Great article. My sister rocks. Hopefully I'll actually get up to your place this fall to take advantage of that cozy new stove!

Hey Jes. Great stove! While I hated hauling wood as a kid, I do miss the cozy fires & the crispy night of a Maine fall....sigh.... Having a very Dorothy moment...

I wish we had a wood stove. They are so cozy and wonder to stand next to when chilled!
