Etsy Maine Team Meeting

Yesterday we had our first Etsy Maine Team meeting of the season in lovely little downtown Richmond, that sits on the Kennebec River at Joselyn's digs, The Blue Moose.

It was a great way to spend the day, and talk about art, promoting, shows, photographing our products and more. Jen our new co-captain, along with Kellie our other co-captain lead a great meeting and I think we were able to all learn a little something. Everyone brought munchies, and their own art to share, purchase and trade.

But what made it extra special was having the meeting at Joselyn's shop! What better way to spend the day focusing on our art, but to be in a shop-filled artsy location! She cleared the middle of the room and gathered chairs and couches that I imagine she uses as displays in this eclectic little heaven. She set up a table for all of our yummies, and another to display our work. SO much better then some random restaurant....what a lucky bunch we are!

I was so inspired by her various displays, the vivid colors and just the hominess of it all! So, I took photos to share.....

I don't think I need to tell you, but I will, it's worth the drive!

HOPE!! I miss you! When are you coming to Maine??

Don't you just love her work? when you come next time, we'll go visit her! Of course I'm partial to the piece with the MOOSEHEAD logo! LOL!

How fun to get together with your team. The Nova Scotia one is very quiet and almost non existant:(

Shelagh, Hope, how I miss my old blogging friends!!!!

Shelagh, we have almost 300 members on our team I believe. NOT everyone participates, but there is a good core group!! We have a weekly chat thread, and business thread on Etsy. We are soooo lucky to have some energetic folks that keep the team alive. Some of us talk on the threads everyday!

We have a show in Freeport (near LL Bean) next Saturday!!! ALL ETSY people!! I can't wait!

Hi Jes! What a fun day you all must have had. That's really a nice opportunity to meet your fellow Etsy artists. My local group is quite active as well, but I just can't fit in going to their meetings in person. Can't wait to see the new issue of BAJ..just a day or two until it's out!
